Volunteering

Like most organizations, Youth for Christ relies heavily on volunteers in all areas of ministry, both directly with kids and behind the scenes.  Volunteers serve in direct ministry, with our monthly mailings to donors and prayer partners, by driving kids to and from events, on boards and steering committees, with our administrative staff, as teen parent mentors and in many other ways.  If you would like to be considered as a volunteer with youth for Christ, reaching teenagers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Partners

Everyone needs at least one person who is a faithful prayer partner. Prayer is one of the things that binds us together as believers in jesus. YFC is looking to develop a 24-hour prayer partners team that will lift up the praises and needs of Capital District Youth for Christ to our Lord. If you have even just 15 minutes a day that you would like to commit to praying for Youth for Christ, please contact our prayer partners coordinator. Thank You!

College Internships

This is offered every summer for college students to acquire training through our Summer Institute and hands-on experience through local ministries in the area of youth evangelism. Email us to learn more about serving as a College Intern with YFC this summer.

Joining Staff

If you have a God-led passion for reaching junior or senior high school students with the Gospel of Christ and desire to see young people become disciples of Jesus, then you may be interested in joining our YFC staff on a part-time or full-time basis. YFC will provide extensive training in student evangelism, ministry models and fundraising. Each staff person is required to raise his/her own financial support, with guidance from our veteran YFC staff.
